Police have released an image as they appeal for assistance from the public to help identify a man who was involved in a crash in Sydney yesterday.

As inquiries into the man’s identity continue, police have released an image of a distinctive tattoo on the man’s hand, in the hope, a member of the public is able to assist them.

The tattoo on the man’s hand depicts an eye on the top of the man’s hand, with an illustration including wavy lines coming from the eye across the man’s fingers and wrist.
