A life-changing drug for cystic fibrosis could soon be available to every Australian who needs it.

The Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee has recommended the drug Trikafta be included on the PBS.

Cystic Fibrosis Australia CEO Netty Burke told Ray Hadley it’s a “monumental” development.

“It brings people back to life, from those I’ve spoken to who’ve had the experience of Trikafta before.”
