NSW medical staff have spoken out about the breaking point in the state’s hospitals amid high COVID cases.

Dozens of nurses protested outside Westmead Hospital in Sydney on Wednesday, calling on the Perrottet government to address critical staffing shortfalls.

The Premier continues to insist the hospital system is coping under rising COVID admissions.

“Stop telling lies or stop being misinformed … we are not coping!” Ray said.
