New research has revealed more than a third of Australians would trade in a milestone event, including birthdays and weddings, to watch the Boxing Day Test.

Almost a quarter of working Aussies have confessed to calling in sick so they can watch the cricket.

Fox Cricket Executive Producer Brad McNamara told Joe Hildebrand cricket is a sport that “unites all Australians”.
