National cabinet is being encouraged to create a COVID Rapid Response Group to deal with the pandemic.

The Australian Council of Social Service has put forth the idea, with to group to consist of public health and business groups.

Australian Council of Social Service CEO Cassandra Goldie told Chris Smith the group can help make decisions.

“We’re not where we want to be.

“The community wants confidence in the decisions that are being made.”
