Ray Hadley is slamming a local MP claiming she played a part in delaying weekend roadworks at Wisemans Ferry.

Frustrated residents had contacted Ray Hadley over the planned weekend closure of Old Northern Road at Wisemans Ferry due to repairs.

This led to Transport Minister Rob Stokes preventing the closure of the main arterial to Wisemans Ferry this weekend.

Now, MP Robyn Preston is claiming responsibility, insisting she called the Transport Minister to get the closure delayed.

Ray Hadley says Ms Preston failed to respond to the concerns of residents when contacted.

“She’s about as useful as a sunroof in a submarine!” Ray said.
