Henry Archibald Hertzberg Lawson was born on June 17th, 1867 in Grenfell goldfields of New South Wales, Australia. The man who would become one of Australia’s most famous and loved writers of the colonial period only received three years of formal schooling and lived a troubled life.
Award-winning journalist Grantlee Kieza , a Walkley Award finalist and author of 18 books has just written and released a new book entitled LAWSON – the extraordinary rise, devastating fall and enduring legacy of an Australian icon and he tells Chris the true story of Lawson’s life and times.
