Ben Fordham Live has obtained a graphic image from a Double Bay pub after a woman was allegedly assaulted.

A man has been arrested, but was later released, after a 20-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted at The Golden Sheaf on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old man, who had been detained by security, was released pending further inquiries.

Ben Fordham has been sent an image of what appears to be bloody handprints smeared on the walls of the pub on the night of the alleged assault. (See image below)

NSW Police is investigating whether the image is linked to the incident.
