A Ben Fordham Live listener has detailed a high-speed police pursuit of an ambulance in the state’s north-west.

The chase is believed to have started around Brewarrina before locals in Bourke, about 100-kilometres away, spotted the vehicle travelling at high speeds.

Mark told Ben Fordham he saw an ambulance travelling at high speeds and originally assumed there had been a crash.

“They’re going through solid give ways doing 130-140km.”
