Cattle prices hang on Brazil’s import ban duration

The discovery of mad cow disease in the world’s largest beef exporter is serving as a warning about the importance of traceability and surveillance of disease in red meat supply chains.

Brazil has halted exports after confirming two cases of the disease, fueling concerns global supplies could become even tighter.
