Ben Fordham says children should return to school before Sydneysiders are allowed back to the pub.

The Premier is expected to detail the roadmap out of lockdown for fully vaccinated residents, including attending hospitality venues from October 18.

A new report has found students are most likely to contract COVID from adults at home rather than in schools.

Students aren’t expected to begin a staged return to school until October 25.

“Open the schools from the start of Term 4,” Ben said.

“If picnics and the pub come before the education of our kids, Premier, we have a problem.”
