An elderly couple is at risk of becoming homeless as Victoria denies them entry from NSW.

Bev and Peter sold their Lake Macquarie home to move closer to their family.

85-year-old Peter is waiting to start chemotherapy in Melbourne for his prostate cancer.

Bev told Ben Fordham the people who bought their house are allowing them to continue to rent while they try to enter Melbourne.

“We did everything before the lockdown in Melbourne and they still won’t let us in.

“We have got to the desperate stage now.”
