The Parramatta Eels need to win their Sunday night clash with the Newcastle Knights to continue forward in the Telstra Premiership.

Eels forward Shaun Lane told Mark Levy and Paul Gallen the team, including the returning big-name stars, have had some much-needed rest.

“We’ve got to win four games in a row if we’re going to take it out, so we needed them boys fresh and ready to go.

“We’re going to try and use the momentum that we’ve created from that win against Melbourne, and try and bring some real heat to the finals.”
