South-western Sydney community groups are rallying together to feed the thousands of people sick with COVID or in self-isolation.

Canterbury-Bankstown councillor Bilal El-Hayek has been leading a group of volunteers delivering hampers and hot meals across the area.

“We’ve partnered up with the GWS Giants, who do a thousand meals a week … this is week four.

“We also do Meals on Wheels a couple of times a week.”
