Low Darling land holders prepare for drought’s return
Land holders along the Lower Darling are preparing for the river to again run dry despite the country currently being in La Nina.
Flows only returned last year after years of drought, as Far West New South Wales begins its long recovery.

Irrigators in the northern part of the river system along the Barwon-Darling have had to stop pumping water this week, as part of new water sharing laws.
