More than 100 people will convoy from Sydney through 14 drought-ravaged regional towns in the lead up to Christmas.

The three-day event will start on December 8 and cover 3,000 kilometres, encouraging people to shop and eat regionally.

Di Jones Real Estate CEO Rod Ward tells Alan Jones anyone is welcome.

“This Christmas, we’re not asking people to spend any more money than they usually would, but just insert the money into the towns that need it the most and that’s drought-affected areas.”

Alan Jones says this is a “brilliant” idea.

“Tick off the Christmas shopping wishlist in regional NSW.

“I wish I could join you!”
