‘Disgusting behaviour’: Online map publishes farmers details

Google has failed to take down an interactive map despite farmers’ concerns over their addresses being made public.

The Aussie Farms interactive map was posted about two months ago by animal activists and collates addresses of farms across the country.

The group is encouraging activists to post photographs and videos of supposed animal exploitation taken at the properties.

The National Farmers Federation CEO Tony Mahar tells Ben Fordham he has written to Google with no response.

“It’s disgusting behaviour by these activist groups.

“The farming industry has had enough of it.

“Breaking and entering into properties, intimidating people and threatening animals really does bring into question their whole motives.”
