‘Work my guts out’: Premier ready for tight election race
The latest Newspoll shows the race for the state election will be tight.
The government and Labor are at 50-50 on a two-party preferred basis, with Gladys Berejiklian the preferred Premier over Michael Daley.
Ms Berejiklian tells Ray Hadley she was always expecting it to be close.
“I’m committed to continuing to work my guts out because there’s a lot at stake.
“We worked so hard to turn the budget around in New South Wales and now we’re investing in infrastructure and services across the state, the likes of which haven’t been seen before.
“And we want to keep doing the job we’ve been doing.”
