The warmer weather is here…

And with the heat comes snakes.

So what do you do if you see one in the wild?

Station Officer at Berowra Fire Station Wayne Stevens tells Deborah Knight what your action plan should be.

“If you come across a snake, most of the time they’ll be out sunning themselves to warm themselves up.

“Our advice is obviously not to approach them, keep animals away – cats and dogs will have a go at them.

“Call either WIRES, or depending on the area, Fire and Rescue NSW.”
