A local dog lover is rescuing huskies in order to provide them with a better life.

There are 30 beautiful huskies in Sydney looking for a new home after being mistreated in horrible conditions on a remote rural property near Bathurst.

Monika’s Doggie Rescue on the Northern Beaches is looking to find the perfect owners to give the dogs their forever home.

They’re being trained to walk on leads and relate to humans.

Monika Biernacki told Jim Wilson the dogs are ready for homes.
