2GB Drive’s win for Orchard Hills residents

Jim Wilson EXCLUSIVE

2GB Drive has had a successful win as a new report is calling for the compulsory acquisition legislation to be completely overhauled.

Jim has rattled the cages for locals over the past 6 months about how homeowners were being dudded after being compulsorily acquired.

A Parliamentary Committee has found many properties acquired for major projects have been undervalued.

It’s recommended those transactions be reviewed and compensation paid to reflect fair value.

“This current state government has the opportunity now to right the wrongs of the past and it would be a brave government who ignores the findings and recommendations,” Jim said.

NSW Shadow Treasure Daniel Mookhey told Jim Wilson a new principle now needs to be implemented.

“The most important principle that needs to be introduced into New South Wales law is the right to return.

“Every other state has that in their laws.”
