Clinton Maynard has been left questioning how the Government can lecture the public on climate change and emissions when the Prime Minister could fly more than 150,000km in the next few months.

He says that while the PM may need to travel a lot domestically, there’s a question about the amount of international travel.

“How can they be lecturing us on every other day of the week about reducing carbon emissions when they blow literally thousands of tons, at least 3,000 tons of CO2 emissions over just four months of travel,” he said.

He points out that if Albanese flew in economy, his carbon footprint would drop dramatically.
