19 children and two teachers have died following a shooting at a Texas primary school. 

An attacker reportedly opened fire at Robb Elementary School, around 135 kilometres west of San Antonio, on Tuesday afternoon.

Governor Greg Abbott has confirmed 14 students and one teacher were “horrifically, incomprehensibly” killed.

Police have confirmed the 18-year-old shooter has also died.

Local business owner Eric told Ben Fordham he “heard at least six gunshots”.

“My business is literally behind the school.

“There’s a funeral home right across the school and the funeral home ladies are screaming ‘be careful, he’s shooting!'”
