“Narky” residents in Coogee have complained about a local shop run by a 12-year-old.

‘Jesse’s Shop’ down at Dunningham Reserve is run by Jesse Lane.

He sells cold drinks, bottled water, dog treats, sunscreen and iceblocks!

Some of the money Jesse raises also goes towards the Australian Skin Cancer Foundation.

A vocal minority have complained and want the store shut.

Jesse told Jim Wilson he loves chatting to the regulars and locals.

Jesse’s mum Catherine told Jim she doesn’t know why people are complaining about the shop.

“It’s so much better that he his down there at the park than on the Xbox.”

A petition currently has 4,000 signatures to keep the store running.
