Ten people are dead and a gunman is on the run after a mass shooting in Los Angeles.

Five men and five women were killed when a shooter opened fire in a dance hall in Monterey Park during Lunar New Year celebrations.

At least ten other people have been hospitalised.

US correspondent Harley Carnes told Ben Fordham the suspect is an Asian male.
