Ben Fordham is a Walkley Award winning journalist who hosts Sydney’s #1 drive radio show.   The 37-year-old joined 2GB four years ago and admits he loves radio more than television. 

Ben is a familiar face for Channel 9 viewers after working for the past 15 years on shows such as Today Show, A Current Affair, Nine News and 60 Minutes. Chase Hinton has Phelan McDermid Syndrome, it’s a rare genetic disorder and only 1000 people worldwide have the condition.

There is no known cure for the disease and there is very little known about it.

That’s why Chase and his family are trying to raise money to fund a trip to Orlando. The Phelan McDermid Syndrome Foundation are holding a conference which helps families learn how they can live with the condition.
