Police allegedly uncover Blue Mountains child sex ring

Seven people have been charged over an alleged child sex ring operating in New South Wales.

Strike Force Baillieu was established last July, investigating reports of historic sexual abuse of three young boys between 2014 and 2016.

At around 7am yesterday detectives swooped, arresting people at three separate homes.

Those charged:

  • A 17-year-old girl
  • An 18-year-old man
  • A 20-year-old woman
  • A 26-year-old woman
  • A 29-year woman
  • A 52-year-old man
  • A 58-year-old woman

The accused are facing a total of 127 charges including sexual intercourse with a child under 10, aggravated sexual assault, aggravated kidnapping, producing child abuse material and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

All were allegedly part of the same organisation and knew the three boys, who were aged under eight-years-old.

They have all been refused bail to face court today.
