Tasmania’s honey industry is in crisis, after a hot dry summer was teamed with devastating bushfires.

Some apiarists still haven’t been able to check their hives in the worst bushfire hit areas of the state, and there’s fears it could take the industry decades to recover.

To find out more, rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Tasmanian Beekeepers Association President Lindsay Bourke.
