Tasmanian growers hopeful of Queensland Fruit Fly eradication

Tasmanian fruit growers are confident they’ll be able to defeat a current outbreak of Queensland Fruit Fly.

The latest outbreak on Flinders Island and near Devonport has seen Taiwan place a temporary import ban on produce from the Apple Isle.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with Fruit Growers Tasmania’s Phil Pike.
