National Migration Toolkit Launched
Rural communities looking to fill local workplace shortages now have access to a step-by-step toolkit on regional settlement.
The toolkit has been developed to help attract migrant workers from the city, in an effort to drive up both the population and economy in smaller towns.
Our rural reported Matthew Bridges caught up with Regional Australia Institute co-chief executive Kim Houghton who says the strategy has been developed alongside a former refugee.
