KIA Carnival updated for 2018

Motor Torque

People movers have fallen from favour as large six and seven seat SUV’s have grown in popularity. The eight-seat Kia Carnival however remains the big seller – the range just updated with detail changes to the interior, safety and specification levels as well as minor changes mechanically and visually. The eight-model petrol and diesel range now spans from $42,490 to $62,790. If you’ve got a big family this is a great way vehicle – let me tell you dynamically people movers have come a long way – the entry model 3.3-litre petrol and diesel Carnival S has risen by $1,000 but now comes with an eight-speed automatic and its more fuel efficient. The suspension also further honed in this latest model and its one area where Kia’s shine today. Good news is the foot operated park brake has made way for an electronic unit. If you find the entry price a little dear check out second hand units – they offer big savings. I’m David Berthon
