Rising energy prices are crippling agriculture production.

Cost increases this year translate to a two-percent decrease in farm-gate milk prices for dairy farmers.

In the dairy sector it equates to an average power bill of $281,000 a year.

New South Wales Farmers has detailed a five point plan, aiming to deliver fairer prices.
