A Sydney mum is the talk of the town after she gave birth to the biggest bub ever delivered at her local hospital.

Little – or not so little – Parker Bell tipped the scales at a whopping 5.755kg when he came into the world on Thursday.

And his brave mum Nikki did it all without pain relief!

Parker is the biggest baby to be born at Blacktown Hospital, with his arrival capturing the nation’s attention.

Nikki tells Ben Fordham they guessed he’d be a big boy, but they never imagined he’d be that big.

“My daughter, she’s 20 months old now, but she was about 4.8kg when she was born so we thought he might be on the larger side.

“But he shocked us all and he came out about a kilo heavier!”

She says they’re both doing well and are settling in as a family of four.
