Jim Wilson has torn into Council’s Administrator Rik Hart after wanting rate payers to foot the bill for suspended councillors with rate hikes until 2030.

Jim said, “talk about taking over the Titanic after the council racked up debt of more than 500 million dollars”.

“How about you start by sacking bureaucrats at the council on six-figure sums.”

“How can a 560 million dollar debt-laden spending spree go unnoticed? Where is the government in all this?”
