Graffiti Removal Day
Across NSW communities are being encouraged to Love Where We Live by getting involved in Graffiti Removal Day on Sunday 21 October 2018.
Graffiti vandalism costs local businesses, households, NSW Government and local councils over $300 million every year, money that could be better invested in the provision of roads, sporting facilities, schools and hospitals.
Graffiti Removal Day draws attention to the fight against graffiti vandalism and encourages people to get involved in the removal and prevention of graffiti
Last year volunteers removed about 30,057m² of graffiti, saving the government and private property owners an estimated $2.1 million.
To volunteer or suggest a clean-up site visit the website www.graffitiremovalday.org.au
