Deputy Premier says anti-protest bill being passed is ‘the right thing to do’
The NSW Deputy Premier believes the anti-protest bill being passed is fundamental in alleviating stresses for everyday Australians.
Paul Toole told Jim Wilson, “people have had a gutful”.
The bill would see protesters who block major roads, ports or train stations face up to two years in prison.
Mr Toole said the message hasn’t been getting through to the activists and the bill is needed.
“It’s not good enough, not acceptable and that’s why we’re clamping down.”
