2GB Live from the Emirates Australian Open


From December 5 to 8, the Emirates Australian Open will be contested at the prestigious Australian Golf Club in Sydney.

2019 is the 104th time that professional golfers will tee off to attempt to add their names to the list of greats on the Stonehaven Cup.  

This year’s field is full of star power with Aussies Adam Scott, Marc Leishman and Cameron Smith returning home. President’s Cup captain Ernie Els will assemble many of his International players and assistant’s including defending champion Abraham Ancer, Louis Oosthuizen, Geoff Ogilvy, KJ Choi, Mike Weir and CT Pan.

The Australian All Abilities Championship (AAAC) also returns for its second edition with players with disability play alongside, and off the same tees, as top pros and amateurs for the Open. The AAAC begins Friday 6th with 12 of the world’s best golfers with disability in the field.
