Jim Wilson has attacked the Prime Minister for giving false hope to Australians that electricity prices are on the way down.

“I actually saw an election poster on the way to the studio today that had Labor screaming they’d save you money on your electricity bill.

“Who on earth thought it was a good idea to make such an outlandish promise?”

Jim said the Government’s transition to renewable energy lacked honesty.

“On one hand they promise to bring down your bill, but on the other hand, they’re committing to massively ramp-up renewables.

“This transition to renewables, sure it looks great in a PowerPoint presentation, but it has lacked any type of thought.”
