Ben Fordham grills the Treasurer over the tensions growing within the Coalition.

Ben says the Prime Minister gave his deputy Barnaby Joyce a “belting” when announcing a ban on Ministers having sex with their staff.

But Treasurer Scott Morrison takes issue with that assessment.

Morrison: That is a very unkind way to read it.

Ben: I think it’s an accurate reading.

Mr Morrison says the government couldn’t pretend the incident never happened.

“We have to learn from them. You don’t go and repeat them.

“You don’t not call it out.

“That’s complete BS.”
