Andrew Lloyd Webber's SUNSET BOULEVARD
Rarely does a show come along that has the intrigue, drama and excitement of Andrew Lloyd Webber's SUNSET BOULEVARD. Running for nearly 3000 performances in London / New York, SUNSET BOULEVARD won 7 Tony Awards, 1 Drama Desk Awards and 2 Outer Critics Circle Awards. The musical now makes its NSW Premiere with Willoughby Theatre Company and we're sure that it will delight and excite our audiences.
Based on the 1950's movie with Gloria Swanson and William Holden, SUNSET BOULEVARD weaves a magnificent tale if faded glory and unfulfilled ambition of Norma Desmond, a faded star of the silver screen. It will be one of the most ambitious productions ever stages by Willoughby Theatre Company, featuring spectacular sets, costumes and a top line cast lead by Michele Lansdown as Norma Desmond and Morgan Cleary as Joe Gillis.
The experienced co-Directing team of Simon Greer and Andrew Castle will take their creative concepts and turn this challenging show into reality, ably supported by Greg Jones as Musical Director and Rebekka Osborne as Choreographer.
Don't miss this stunning production at The Concourse, Chatswood, from Friday November 16.
