The QLD Thoroughbred Breeders Association has been running a campaign raising funds for help paying for petrol, for medical bills, for school fees.

Thanks for offering to help knit poppies.    The response has been overwhelming.

There are three options – Kalgoorlie, the Blue Mountains and Victoria

Kalgoorlie is looking for 10,000 poppies to line the streets on the Centenary of ANZAC Day next year; the Blue Mountains ANZAC Memorial Hospital hopes to place 5,000 knitted poppies on the hospital’s memorial walkway on ANZAC Day next year; and everyone in Victoria is furiously knitting to create 10,000 poppies to line Federation Square for ANZAC Day next year (they already have 26,000!)
