Well, the NAB will hand down its half year profit result today

And by all accounts it will be in line with record half year results reported by ANZ ($3.2 billion) and Westpac ($3.3 billion) last week

Of course, it’s pretty easy to profit when you charge people with mortgages double the rate of interest you pay for money and people with business loans perhaps 4 times what you pay
