Queensland Rain Destroys Crops

Rural News

Cucumber, chili, tomato, and bean crops are among those washed away by record rain in Queensland’s Wide Bay region.

For sugarcane growers, the region’s record breaking rain couldn’t have come at a worse time, with many about 75 percent through harvest.

Rural Reporter Eddie Summerfield speaks with the region’s fruit and vegetable growers and canegrowers associations.
