The Christmas Lunch began with the Harding family of Leumeah putting together the Christmas Day Lunch. It involves the coming together of Catholics, Baptists, Anglicans, Presbyterians and Mormons to Plan, Organize, Lead and Produce a Christmas Lunch for  the residents of Campbelltown-Macarthur

The Christmas Lunch has partnered with the Lord Mayors Annual Christmas Appeal and given out the presents collected by Campbelltown City council at the Christmas Day Lunch.

The Christmas Lunch would not be possible without the help of some 50 local residents who have turned out year after year to volunteer to prepare the Christmas Lunch, entertain and socialise with people at the lunch, entertain people at the lunch and hand out food at the Christmas Day lunch.
