Heart Health Seminar – 25 February
Heart Research Australia invites everyone to take an important step towards better heart health by attending their free Heart Health Seminar at Auditorium, 5th Floor Kolling Building, Royal North Shore Hospital on Saturday, 25th February.
Did you know that 8 in 10 cases of premature heart disease and stroke are preventable through healthy lifestyle behaviours?
Heart Research Australia is dedicated to reducing the alarmingly high rates due to heart disease by offering this FREE Heart Health Seminar, to help inform the community of the risks associated with heart disease and provide practical advice for living a long and healthy life.
The Heart Health Seminar, which opens at 10.00am to 12.30pm will include presentations about the latest advances in heart research from some of Australia’s leading cardiologists, as well as practical advice from a range of health experts on ways to incorporate healthy eating, exercise and stress management for optimum heart health.
There will also be free heart health checks available on the day with free screenings for blood pressure and blood sugar – both modifiable risk factors for heart disease.
