The International Cricket Council has reportedly launched an investigation into a spot-fixing attempt during the Ashes series.

Two bookmakers are accused of offering to sell details of rigged periods of play during the third Ashes Test between Australia and England, which starts in Perth today.

The UK Sun has published a video of the Indian men, saying they are dealing with corrupt players who use signals to communicate with them.

It is alleged markets such as the exact amount of runs scored in an over are among those being spot-fixed.

Information discussed in the purported evidence was offered for up about $200,000.

There is also mention of fixing “four-to-five” Big Bash League matches.
